Opening weekend for duck season is this weekend!!!!! Who else is pumped about this?? Hopefully everyone has a good and safe hunt this weekend. Lets see some pics posted on here from everyones opener when its all said and done!

lol i hear ya man! Luckily we have a cold front coming in maybe that will help push some kind of birds down this way! Wished we had weather like they do up north.. the openers around here always feel like early teal seaon. HOT!

Maybe it wouldnt feel like teal season if they didnt open it so god dayum early. They need to wait atleast another 2-3 weeks.

this weekend being the opener is a joke. its way to early for a season opener resulting in that there arent that many birds down here. im not even excited bout it like usual. most likely i will end up deer hunting one day this weekend.

First of all don't believe a damn thing hunterG says....lmao And second i went out scouting today and saw a whole 2 ducks in the 3hrs i was out there. So yeah i hope this little front brings some birds cause as of now we'll just be shooting the breeze! But i will be out there with bells on cause this is my sport and its what i have been waiting on all year as far as hunting goes.

If the weather is 55 like they say its gonna be, i wont mind only shooting a few teal.

cold front is going to be bigger than expected! 44 degrees for saturday morning here in setx! Saw quite a few birds yesterday before this front blew in, so its game on fellas!

17 hours until shooting time fellas

2 man limit this morning, (lost two in the cane) and left by 8 because of work... 2 redheads , 1 pintail drake, 1 gadwall, rest teal

The teal were flying in Labelle. Not as many as opening day last year but good numbers. Wish I could shoot, lol. Ended up with 3 teal and a smiling mallard

Today was opening day of rifle season in North La.
It made me remember why I like duck huntin.
