Post Secondary Trim Switch on PD
Has anyone installed a secondary trim switch for their PD.

I did this past weekend and it was a little bit of a puzzle with figuring out the wiring. But I got it.

Reason for doing so is I am to lazy to twist my body around while sitting in my seat to trim up and down when I need to.

Its right next to my right knee next to my grab bar. Nice addition. I like the easy of use for when I am running. Will use the handle mounted one for when I am working mud or lillys.

How did you get the wires figured out? I had to totally disconnect the wires from the switch on the handle. I am now using a warn winch with a relay on my grab bar. I can easily hook it back up the original way, which is nice in case one of the switches goes bad, but was not able to figure out how to do both.

I will try to post up a pic later today.

I installed a double pole, double throw toggle switch. Both switch wires are run to this and then the 2 winch control wire are run to that.

They both can not work at the same time but all it takes is the flip of the toggle to what ever station I want and good to go.

that makes sense. I set mine up that I would only hook back the original wires if something goes bad on the secondary switch I installed. Was kind of hard to get used to the change, but I really like it on the grab bar.
