Made my first trip to Caddo today. Just cruised around checking it out. How can a mat of grass and mud stick my boat but not be able to keep me from sinking up to the bib of my waders when I step out of the boat?

Caddo can be a tricky unforgiving place. Brooks is right...you are lucky to be alive.

I have been to Cado. Ran across the same shiat it stopped me like hitting dry ground.Put it in reverse and had it moving 30' around me and worked my way out of it and then did it all over again.

Put that in you MB and smoke it....You and your no reverse having azz can suck dez nutz!

DHF250, I didn't have to get dirty the first time yall got stuck at bist... Freddy parked right next to ya and after he got yall goin, I backed his boat right out. The rest of the day we was all stuck together for sure though.

And just for the record, that ain't float on...That is an island with grass growing on it. I doubt the reverse is gonna pick up an island and move it around. Hydrilla is another story. FPR is your best bet to get out, but I've had to use the winch a few times when stuck like that in the pic above...jus sayin

That was fun. I'm headed back there the 18, 19, 20, and 21 to hunt. Matter of fact anywhere in the area i find a bird.
