Stick Steering

When I get my new motor whatever it will be I'm thinking a stick steering would make my net life easier. I have seen the Ky boys stick rigs which are 1/4 cable and some pulleys. I'm looking at the same system or getting a cable for the stick. Any info or pics on this set up would be appreciated. I'm looking at mounting the stick at or near my front deck where I work off 90 percent of the time. Sit up front so you can see and keep the azz end higher. Unless you experience it in person you can not understand it in any way.
