Post LTGD prop question.
The prop on my 98 gd has a quarter turn play on the shaft. The stop nutz infront and behind the wheel are tight. Is this a normal setting or should I tighten up on the nutzs?

You are OK... Some folks liked to keep them that way so
they were easier to remove later.... Unless it is making too
much noise and that is buggin you - just leave it that way....

4 or 5 Lil pumps of grease into the shaft every other outing and
a half pump into U joints every 20 to 30 hours - change oil at same
20 to 30 hour interval and you are - good to go...

Thanks, also the engine tends to backfire when I have the rig overloaded and the throttle wide open. The plugs look good. Any tips?

Muffler ???

Call GoDevil - you need your frame SN which is just behind the engine
under the U joint - to talk to 'em and maybe order parts....

I've heard that if you put low grade gas in the motor it will backfire sometimes. Not sure why.
