So I bought the carb "autogateman" had for sale.. With filter and filter adp. It came off a 35GD. Im running a 35gtr CDI... I have a BPS intake from a firend I will be using.

I was wondering is there anyhthing I need, or need to change B4 I run off the deep end and get my hands dirty with this thing??

Check your jets just to be sure your good, clean it real well and slap it on!

Just make sure your high speed jet is a 162.5 to 165, and your low speed is a 22.5-25.

You can get an adapter that let's you use the stock intake. An intake does come with the evt kit, and adapter comes with the bps...

did u get a rev limiter with that carb? if not your gonna need to get one and a governor lock

He has a CDI, he won't need a rev limiter.

Ok so can anyone maybe put together a list of the things I will need to get this install together and done right?!? I dont mind having to get all the small things to do the job right.. I knew going into this it would not be as ez as picking up this carb and slap'n it on, so all the help is great..

just try the thing with the jets that are in it, hook up your throttle the way i showed you with the barrel on the cable, and see what happens. i posted a good link on carb tuning, you can use that for refernce.

With that carb the cdi motor will not run rite you need more than just jets and gov block. If you want to send me the carb I can make it a cdi carb for you.

My advice is to finish your season and mess with it after the shooting stops.

Make sure its an HSR42 and a 160 main for a CDI is right. A 130 pilot is way too fat (125 or 122.5). You may also need additional parts for the CDI to run smoothly through the range (Chops post above).

If you have an option, go with a lower gear ratio or more prop to counter the RPM gain from the carb and stay under 4300.

I get my jets from JetsRUs on the web- they have everything. If you have a Harley shop around, you may be able to pick up what you need there.

its being sent over night to Chops.. Our 1st split ends Sunday, So I will have 2 weeks to mess with it it!!

I talked to Keith yesterday and it looks like my carb and new tiger prop will be shipped wed/thurs... Really hope'n for wed being our season opens again sat!! (hint hint keith) lol.

quack, im pretty sure all it needed was rejetted. i sold the carb as used, if it not set up exactly for your motor, then its up to you to get it jetted right
