Post New Stuff from Phowler Boats for 2011
As most of you are aware, Phowler Boat Company has been expanding over the past several years and is expanding our line of boats again for 2011.

We have added our new Prowler Series of boats in 12, 14, 15 and 1636 sneak boats.

In addition we are adding our new Extreme boats in the 14, 15, 16 and 1740 models. We have not come up with a new name for these boats yet, but will be adding them into production in late January 2011.

Both the Prowlers and the new 40" bottom jons are designed to make the most out of the new Copperhead surface drives or to match up with a small outboard or longtail for both small and big water areas and HP restricted areas.

In addition to the new boats, we have been testing a new paint/nonskid process for the floors/decks and insides of our hulls. This new process is called Phowler Gator Grip and it is exclusive to our boats. Unlike the bed liners materials, Phowler Gator Grip adds very little weight over the standard paint, only about 1.5 lbs per boat. Also, unlike sand and grit additives, it does not wear off over time.

This new process is added directly to the paint and is specifically formulated to actually absorb our paint and hardner mix so it becomes part of the paint, not just surrounded by paint.

Phowler Gator Grip is being Trade Marked for Phowler Boats at present. It will not be an options, we like it so much we are making it standard on all our boats for 2011 (unless you are ordering hydroturf, in that case we leave the finish in standard paint where the hydroturf will be installed).

I would like to show folks a picture of this new product, but it is hard to see, all I can tell you is it is the best none skid formula we have ever used, it has been in our pro-staff boats all season and it is wearing like iron.

In addition to our new Phowler Gator Grip being standard we have upgraded our entire paint process. We worked with our supplier over the past year to try some new hardners and paint formulas. Our paint has always been very good, better then 99% of the boats out there, but we wanted it to be even better. We have tested 9 new formulas over the past year and have one that we feel is the toughest out there. It costs a little bit more and uses a bit more paint, but it is worth the extra in our book. We are making this new paint formula standard for 2011 at no added cost as well.

Lastly we will be re-introducing our Vee Series in the spring of 2011. As most folks know we developed the Vee Series three years ago to meet a need in the market for a cutting vee front boat that will still perform with a MM in shallow water. The Vee Series boats we have sold did a good job and most folks were very happy with the ride and performance. We listened to the feedback we got on the boats and decided we could do better yet. We wanted to make the Vee better, make the ride dryer and make the front of the boat look nicer. We have been working on different prototypes for the better part of the past year and finally have the production prototype finished the way we want it. You will see some pictures and reviews over the next few months, but the new Vee Series will be available by April 2011 in 48, 56, 60 and 66 wide models in 16, 18 and 20' lenghts.

We have lots more we are working on and as always, if you have an idea for options specific to your needs, we can build it the way you want it, the first time.

Thanks,

Paul Willging - Owner
Phowler Boat Company.

Would love to see Phowler boats and some Copperhead mudmotors at the Mn Sportsman Show coming up next year. Please consider bringing up a few items to show from Iowa!
