 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I use Under Armor liner gloves. They arent thick so its easy to shoot with them but the only downfall is their not waterproof. Just carry a couple extra pairs.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I don't think what you described exists..I have some wool gloves or some type material from gander mountain that the mitten part flips back and your fingers are exposed. I like to wear that on my right hand so that I can have my fingers for loading shells and pulling the trigger, I don't wear anything on my left because it distorts the duck call too much.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I haven't had much luck finding a decent waterfproof, warm pair that you can actually get all your fingers back in once your hands are damp. I've just been using cheap single layered pairs and changing them when they get too wet.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I wear a pair of cabelas camo skins. They aint to bad as far as shedding water but they are for sure not water proof. They are pretty warm but I have horrible circulation in my hands and like to shove a hot hands down them but put it on the back of my hand so i still have my normal grip. Even with the hot hands they still fit great. They can be a pain sometimes to get back on with damp hands but it usually isnt bad, plus I can still easily load my extrema2 and get on the trigger almost as easy as with no gloves on. Sometimes the end of the finger gets hung up in the magazine tube when loading a shell but is easy to just pull it out. They held up pretty good for 3 seasons now.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I know the temps are a little below what we all normally experience here in AR, MS, LA, and TX, but do you guys really wear gloves while hunting? I can understand wearing gloves running the motors or atvs but never when actually hunting. I buy the hot hands hand warmers and put one in each pocket of my jacket or in the pocket/pouch in my cabelas super mag waders and I am set.

If anything I just wear those thin, brown jersey gloves.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I use the brown or camo Jersy Dot gloves and carry at least 1/2 doz pair on cold days and swap them out when they get wet. Got a drawer full of different gloves that haven't panned out.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
As far as the waterproof part, nothings waterproof but a bullfrogs ass and it aint 100%.. Go to the local Army surplus store and buy 3-4 pairs of wool glove liners. They are warm and work well for shooting, if they get wet you have a backup pair in your bag..

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
Orvis makes a pair in duckblind. They are waterproof, fleece lined, very warm but not bulky whatsoever. Plus a warranty that is great. Best gloves hands down. Will not hunt cold weather without them.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
I wear the under armour liner gloves, sprayed down with camp dry. Water beads off in a light rain, but they are not waterproof. It also doesn't get very cold here, might hit 30's two or three times a season.

 Re: Best Hunting Glove??
goretex lined kangaroo gloves from cabals. the best ive ever used. they are thin and very though. as for warm they are as good as any, never found any boots or gloves that were real warm. the goretex seems to hold up well and keeps the wind off the hands when running.
