Post MMT Wounded Warrior Hunt - Update - Photos Posted!
MMT is proud to announce that we will be co-sponsoring a hunt with the Wounded Warrior Program.

We will be hunting with two servicemen later this week. It's just a small token of gratitude that we can help make this possible after the sacrifices these guys (and others) have made for us.

We will be shooting video and photos of the hunt that will appear on MMT TV so stay tuned!

God Bless Our Troops!

UPDATE:

Check out the photos!

;) It's awesome how the true American spirit shines in nation's sportsmen when the rest of the hypocrites want to tie on their yellow ribbons, yet forget the fallen heroes when it really counts. Thank you, Tony for sponsoring this honorable event. If there's anything we can do, please let us know.

I know it's been passed around in chain mail so much, it's losin it's punch, but here goes anyhow.

Only 2 men were ever willing to die for you. One was the American soldier, the other was Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

God bless the American soldier. Keep them and their families in your loving hands and protect them from all harm. In Jesus name, Amen.

It should be quite an excellent adventure! Good idea and effort.

A couple of us over here on the NC Coast are working up a hunt for a couple of WW on the New River later this month.

We just need more bluebills to come on down from up North!

WOW guys! Its good to see so many folks that would be willing to do this! This idea was something that me and my family have been kicking around for quite some time. I have a cousin who is in the 3rd. ODA Special Forces Group that brought this idea up over a hunt last duck season. We had heard of these hunts being done with deer and turkey and thought it would be great to make a Wounded Warriors dream come true by providing them with a duck hunt on my familys private duck lease located here in Houma. Once we realized how big of an ordeal this actually was I contacted TonyB and Gator-Tail to see if they would be interested in helping out with this great oppurtunity of giving a little something back to the great people in Uniform who are fighting for us overseas. Both parties agreed and have both went out of their way in helping us organize this great event. While we are out hunting over the next few days I will talk to TonyB about possibly creating some sort of network via MMT for others such as you guys that are willing to go above and beyond and give a little something back. Anyone who would be willing to do this type of thing would be greatly appreciated by our service members.

Dear Tony And CRAIG, i'd be willing to donate a little somthing if you guys need anything, I have family in the armed forces and i have seen how far gifts go when soldiers recieve them, They love the gifts but the thought that someone has went out of their way to show that they care means more to them than me or anyone else will ever know!

Very very stand up thing on ya'lls part and them guys can take this with them where ever they go, so anytime there is anything that someone is doing to help out the troops i like to help in any way possible!

By Far The Best MMT Post Yet! ;)

Looks like the response had been great!

The hunt is actually starting today (well getting to the camp and getting the blind ready).

This could be a great thing that could be done in different parts of the country. I plan on adding a new forum where we could organize these hunts. Whatever MMT can do to help this we will.

Yall wish us luck!

Update from the hunt:

Got to the camp wednesday. There are 2 guys from the program here, Dean & Adam both from
North Carolina, both cool dudes.

The nights meal consisted of grilled redfish and Cajun caviar.

Todays hunt (Thursday) was great, perfect weather. The carnage was a mixed bag of mallards, teal, canvasback, widgeons and an assload of doozers.

Lunch was jambalaya and Scotts jalapeño duck poppers (duck wrapped in bacon)

Doing some fishing now off the camp porch now.

Stay tuned for more updates!

If I were better at hunting or fishing, I would love to do something like this. Would kinda suck to come with me. I'll just drag you through the mud, wear you out, and let you kill a couple spoonies if you're lucky.

I think this is great though. Much props to you guys who go the extra mile to take care of those who fight for our freedom.

Thanks guys for all the support on this! The guys are having a blast and killing a great number of ducks and a great many of species of ducks. I'd like to thank all of you for supporting this and I look forward to being able to this again in the future! Also...thanks to TonyB and Gator-Tail for supporting this and helping us out. Tony donated his services and came along with his camera equipment and shot lots of awesome film and snapped hundreds of photos. He will make all the guys a nice compilation disk that will be very memorable and simply "bad azz like dat". Sorry but lots of it wont be able to be shown here. :D Lastly...i'd like to thank my "commando cuzin" and his dad since they are the 2 guys that put all this together. Setting this up and going thru with it was a pretty big deal and they both worked hard in getting things straight so this could be done...and it paid off big time.

Back from the hunt at the MMT corporate headquarters in Loreauville. What a trip!

First night was exciting as about 20 minutes after I got in bed, I got stung by 2 wasps under the covers at the same time, like them wasps said, "ok, time to bite his ass". Talk bout paranoid about going back to sleep

I'd like to thank all involved who helped set this up: Craig's uncle Mike and his sons, Craig and the WW program. This was a great experience and it sure felt good to hang out with the guys who gave so much to our country.

We'll be posting the photos soon with the video to follow later.

Craig has an exclusive video clip from the duck blind that he'll be posting soon

Thanks also to all the MMT members who offered to donate etc, we will be re-naming the military forum to add this program so we can get this rolling throughout the country. This is an awesome way to thank out military guys and I know that MMT members will be glad to participate.

Stay tuned!
