 18hp longtail
I am sure this questioned has been asked before, but I have done the search and can't find my answer. How will an old 18hp long tail perform on a 16x38 flat bottom boat. I am not concerned about speed, just worried about the weight and having to go for a swim.

 Re: 18hp longtail
My first mud rig was an old 18hp on a 1978 14*36 polarcraft riveted flatboat. It will work. I just had to be careful slowing down and watching out for cypress knees.
