I've been having trouble with my new gdsd 35 backfire-ing. after jacking with the motor and 3 trips to the dealer. We called go devil and the plug wires are recalled for arc-ing. So I talked to the service tech and told him every time I bump the throttle and get off it it stalls Vanguard got rid of the idle return spring so it dies. They said it doesn't need it which is bs. And 3rd All vanguards sold after July 2010 come with a 3 yr warranty. Which most dealers aren't aware of theres a link on GD's site I printed it out in case they change their mind.

MB puts an idle return spring on them, you can get one that works well from them.

Thanks DB I got it all worked out now. But I thought this post might help somebody else thats having trouble. I asked a couple different people and they kept saying to balance the tires!!
