Those ducks aren't dead, they're drunk. I see an empty crown bag. :D

Brooks we got bleach by the cases to try and keep the shrimp smell and the fly's away. above the clorox is some buble gum smelling cleaner that works pretty well. When you moving as much shrimp as we done that's a neccesity.
And the empty crown bag is needed to keep warm on these cold South Louisiana day's, gotta warm the blood.

heres another 2 man limit from tuesday

T-al, that's gotta be some of the prettiest bw-teal I've ever seen in that last picture. The late season plummage is beautiful. Looks like yall had an awesome season. Congrats.

I have to say the blue wings that were killed the last weekend were by far the prettiest i have ever seen. I plan on mounting one of them, which brings up the question who is your favorite bird taxi's?

Shallow, this is a spot that i just got into this year and i've probably killed more birds this yearthan i killed in my whole life. I wish i would have pictures from the better days of like 9 limits out of one blind and the majority being big ducks. It's been a awesome year but i'm kinda sad it's over.

Guy's if you don't mind i'd like to see some pictures of the mounts when you get them back. And would yall have the contact info. I would appreciate it.

Delta i am sporting padna, i got this around Christmas and i can't say enough about it. The thing will idle in gear against the bank at 750 all day. And the charging system seems to hold my batteries up way better. And runs pretty good with a big load for stock.

The water was about 1' lower than normal in the marsh i hunt and lets just say i made some beleivers out there and we were running every mudboat with every type of mm.

david luke taxidermy, Northwest wings taxidermy, Wings in flight, brads birds. If it's worth getting mounted it's worth getting mounted right.

Thanks for the info. guy's.

Shallow / takem i am actually hunting a lease that borders Laccasine wildlife refuge. If i'd have to say that place holds more mallards per acre than almost anywhere in Louisiana, however the refuge is rough hunting and scouting if you want to get to the birds. And the fuge is only hunted Sat, Sun, and Wednesday until lunch.

I know a few guy's that hunted it this year and they didn't do quite as good as us but wasn't far off, mostly mallards and teal. The only thing i can say is get on google and look for the potholes. And go ride soon before the ducks leave too see where they are concentrated at.......Remeber it will be hard to find holes early in the winter.

I know where this refuge is that you speak of, My buddy that i hunt with lives in Lacassine i think thats the town, anyways i take the Lacassine exit off of I-10 and head south down that road a long ways until it gets to a T in the road. He lives back there and we drive to Lil pecan island and thats where we do most of our hunting.
