Installing REV Limiter on 35 GDSD(Help please).
I installed new heads, Carb and Marshmellow on my 35 GDSD two weeks ago. REV limiter was on back order, went to install it this morning, and looking at the directions the are for a mud buddy. I understand the black wire is the ground and the green wire is going to splice into the ignition kill switch on the handle. I do not know where the white wire. I assume it has to come off a coil so the unit knows your RPM. can someone please advise. I will call MB on Monday if I don't figure it out this weekend.

Be careful when hooking it up. One wrong wire, and you burn up your wiring harness.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Black to Ground (8mm starter mount bolts is a good place) Green into the Black wire on the harness (control wire to short the coils) The other wire to the grey wire on the harness.

No Problem. I would hook it all up under the cowling,so that the connectors would be less exposed to the elements of the weather. Extend the wires and mount the rev box to the transom for less vibration. Preferably under the rear corner ,to keep the box out of the weather. Also maybe put a little Di-electric grease in the connectors, which will help keep moisture out. I Hope this helps.

Thanks hooked it up like you said and works perfectly. The directions that came with it showed hooking it up to some sort of circuit breaker, which my motor does not have.
