Post ProDrive Vibration
How much felt vibration is normal for a PD36? I bought a used lower unit and repowered, and although everything looks to be running straight, after 10 minutes at 3500RPM my arm starts to get numb from the vibration.

Corpal tunnel? Hits me hard with the twist grip. I roll the throttle and then just keep a little pressure on top the grip with my hand and don't grip it. Works much better for me.

Ok, two folks said balance the prop....how? I don't mind sounding ignorant, when that is exactly what I am. I'll also try not hangin on so tight (probably a good idea in case I hit anything)
Thanks for all the guys on here who don't mind sharing some knowledge and experience, so we all benefit!

Take it to a prop shop and have it balanced. Call around in your area, there is probably more than one. Tell them what you have and get a quote. Take it to who you are most comfortable with.

If you have CT- try a bike glove (fingerless w/ padded palm) on your throttle hand. Helps dampen the vibration.

I had bad vibration with a new pd prop, had it balanced, still no help talked to Peck at pd sent it back to him. He said it had a warped blade and must have come out of the mold to hot, so he sent me a new one.

Well, I am going to remove the prop, and run it on the trailer at idle, to see if the problem is there. If it still vibrates without the prop, I'll know the problem is somewhere else.
