Post Motor wont start?
I had a little run in with a cypress knee and a tree and after the impact i noticed two things my marshmellow exhaust got a cracked flanged on the left side if your are looking at the motor from inside the boat and it wont start. It acts like its got a dead battery, but the batt got 12 volts and igition switch is good. I am going to change out the starter and solenoid to fix it but could it be anything else. As far as internal damage i can turn the prop by hand and it feels just as smooth as it did before. Hoping somebody could give suggestions.

might have hit the starter and wedged it tight to the flywheel if ya hit your exaust and broke it. Did you hit the motor on the tree?

Blown fuse? Maybe? I had a lot of heartache over a blown fuse on time.

yeah it think just the exhaust took a lick on the tree i jump down in the boat before impact lucky i wasnt going wide open. never checked the fuses but none of that matters now because my shop burned down last night and i lost both of my boats. ill post pics if you guys want to see. it totally melted my bassboat leaving the burned trailer where it stood, and same to my mud rig
