Post Looking for a trainer
I'm looking for a trainer to send my pup to. She is 3 months old now and want to get the ball rolling soon. I live in the houston area and don't wanna mind driving a lil distance to take her. Just looking for some suggestions.

If you want a good hunting dog train her yourself that way you can have that relationship and you can get more out of her. Buy the water dog DVD and it will help you out on the basicsI if you want to get in to detail than buy the book thats what i did and she a finished dog. It just takes time man, it dont happen over night just take your time with her and after she hits 6 months thats when you show her whos the boss...

I work 70 to 80 hours a week so have a hard time getting time to work with her like I should. I have bought both the book and movie. I just have time to do it right.

I know a really good trainer in Longview, but that might be a little farther than you want to drive. He only takes on a handful of dogs at a time and constantly keeps them around his family and other dogs. He's done wonders with my dog.
