Post new to mud motor rig need advice
new to this site and was looking for some advice/ opinions. I've been interested in a rig for a while now and have been researching a lot and reading many articles but don't know what setup is best for me. I'm tired of tearing up my outboard. The boat will be used for hunting/ fishing running the river in pearl river, la and marsh south of slidell, la. The river gets very shallow at times with lots of logs beneath the surface that you cant see. Bottom is sandy and muddy. Everyone knows how the marsh is. Definitely want reverse so it will be either a 36 pro drive FPR or a 35 GTR. Normal load will be 2 people and usual camping gear for the weekend. I like the open floorplans due to the space it has. If anyone lives around here and is willing to take me on a test ride it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to drive within an hour and a half. Called gator-tail but they're not open on the weekends so I figured pro drive was the same and its the only time I can do a test ride. Lets hear some opinons thanks
