Post iron mountain heads.....
Im considering puttin them on my motor but have heard that they will cause problems down the road. How many hours do you have on your heads and what problems have you encountered. What performance increases did you see after installing? Im not looking for a high maintenance beotch of a motor. Also I had a friend tell me i would see better performance increases with a carb and intake kit and only polishing the stock heads.

i did a search and trying to weed through the bs was too much frickin work.

Actually I believe they are the safest heads out there. They don't deck em as much as others. I've had mine with mikuni and mm exuast for about 100 hours now. No problems. I'd wait to see what deadbird8 or Chops says. They're pretty good about bps parts.

I have a MB 5500 that has them and put 48 hours on them this season with no issues. They will definitely give you some more power.

IM heads are a good recipe balancing performance gains and reliabitliy. Heads are the best HP gain for the $'s out there but you need a high flow exhaust. They come with stainless one piece valves which eliminates the stock valve leaking issues. You will notice load carrying ability gain and RPM increases. I know of a motor with 150hrs on them, I have about 50 on mine.
