 Thinking about getting a 16ft south fork boat, with a 25 mb?
Thinking about getting a 16ft south fork boat, with a 25hp md buddy surface drive on the back. What are yalls opinions on this motor, and setup? About what speeds should i expect? Is there Any flaws with the 25 kohlers?

Yeah I got one and it looks like a WASH BOARD across the bottom theres a dip between every horizontal rib ( and thats with a 1/8 thick bottom). There fine boats for an outboard but will not hold up well to the abuse of shallow water running . My opinion is don't do it man, you'll kick yourself in the ass later down the road I promise you ! Get a true mudboat hull for that motor.

get atleast a 35hp if you wanna have anyone in the boat with you and plane out had a 23 on a 16 ft war eagle 1648 was nice for fishing but put a hunting load on it 2 guys your SOL man go big on the motor or smaller boat im going for a black death 4500 on the 1648 my buddy got one i gotta do the same it moves
