 carb kits on GTR Is it just me or do the carbs sit really close to the exhaust? Seems the carb should be facing foward to draw in cooler air. Has anyone tried to mount them facing forward?

Re: carb kits on GTR as far as i know all of them face the back except the twin mikuni kits. I was wondering the same thing though

Re: carb kits on GTR seems you would get more ponies for your buck if they were sucking in cooler air. Maybe I am missing something though

Re: carb kits on GTR It's cold air believe me. After running for a few min grab your intake. It's ice cold! The carb forces the air through so fast it makes it cold

Re: carb kits on GTR We have built a few with the carb facing out front. Did not notice much of a difference.
