how much will a 08 1848 slide when turning ? And will it help if i but 2 runers on it tward the rear ?

A little tiller time and it wont be a problem at all. Also when you put a hunting load in the boat, I.E. 2-4 guys and gear, it will turn on a dime.

You'll get used to the slide pretty quick man.....the more weight you have in the boat the less it'll slide.

Ok guys im gettin a 1754 tomorrow how bad is she goin to slide ? If its to bad can i weld some thing on the bottom ? The reason im asking is i will be runnin the river and there are big logs i dont want to hit.

Put a 250# 24" raised deck on it with about 400# of bowfishing gear in it and its real butt puckering...

First time it happened to me you coulndt have pounded a greased needle up my a$$ with a sledge hamma....
