 Hydro Turf and ice
I've seen a lot of positive comments regarding Hydro Turf. My question is how effective is the product below freezing? I'm concerned that the grooves will be full of water and mud, thus making the surface very slippery. I'm not suggesting that carpet or most other surfaces won't have the same problem, I'm just looking for the diamond in the rough.

 Re: Hydro Turf and ice
i was told the grooved turf is ok. Diamond pattern will hold water and freeze.

 Re: Hydro Turf and ice
Light coating of water freezes...will break up nicely due to the resiliency of Hydroturf. Deep water freezes and you will have a sheet of ice like anything else.
