So I Know that I am not the only one that has to deal with this problem. How do you get the wifey off your back about buying a mud boat or a MM. I have now had mine for almost a year but every time a need something new(acessories)for it or the actual purchase of it gets brought up in public she says it is the one of the stupidest things I have ever bought. She always says that we could have gotten a nice little ski boat for the price of the mud boat.

I tell her she can ski behind the Black Death. Now who wouldnt want to do that? Is that being unreasonable?

I have a great wife but man she is on my case about this.

I try and tell her that there is nothing sexy than a girl in a bikini riding in mud boat.

My wife can be a girly girl but there are two things she likes and doesn't seem to have a problem with me buying. Boats and guns.

Well my wife goes fishing,frogging an riding around the house with me. If and when I want something for it I get it. I she doesn't like it she never says anything because I don't care anyway.

Well I told her I was goin buy a boat and she said you have your money --- buy what you want.


When I need something for it -- I spend my money out of my account that she has no clue whats in there, Its none of her business what I spend my money on or how much is in there.

Dont get me wrong she likes to go out in it but she still doesnt see the light and no it doesnt help that I have to pay montlhy on it but come on who can wait until the have the cash to buy there first MM.

No she doesnt have a job but she stays home with our three boys who are all under the age of 29 months and they still wear diapers. I would not want that job. I love my boys but it is a lot of work to stay home with them all day.

Put her on a wake board or somne skis , and she foget all about it , if not your screwed sorry about your luck.I'm the boss in my house ,till she come home.lol

man ive been real lucky with my gf, we enjoy all the same activities. I use my mm as a regular boat, and we have just as much fun in it as when i had my 24' 625 hp baja outlaw. we backpack, canoe,fish, and camp together. if she is too proud to ride around in an mm as if it was a fancy ski boat, well, then your fu(ked. just my .02.

Why don't you just sell the boat and stay home? Would that make you happy? Would that make her happy? Ya I got one of those separate accounts too it makes life a whole lot easier. My old lady loves going on the boat she will give me shyt when I get new parts sent to the house and she has to sign for them but it always ends the same way with me telling her I pay the bills in this house don't worry about it. My wife & I have been together for 17 yrs. She's been stuck in the marsh with outboards enough, & watched me burn up a few, that when I decided to go to a mm, she said go for it. Take her out in the marsh in ya boat & run some skinny water or even pure mud, then next time take one of ya buddies' boats & make her help ya push out. I bet she'll never ask for another ski boat.

Just hang in there. You apparently have not been married long enough. After several years she will not care anymore. Just do what I did and let her buy some boobs and other upgrades she may want. Every man deals with his woman different, but I just laid the law down a long time ago. I work in the Oil Field, and mostly over seas, so when I come home and hop in my rig or go hunting or whatever I wanna do, she dont say shat because that 50,000 SUV and this 300,000 house she lives in and the all the purse money you can spend can all be shut down if I choose. Now im no hard ass and say that i just do my thing, but I do take her out and spend quality time with the kids and her, but I did all this before I got married and Im gonna keep on doing it until the day I die and she knows this.

Best advise I can tell ya is if you want a 15,000 dollar toy ya better be able to spend 30,000 cause thats the only way that is gonna keep peace with a woman. I love my wife and two little boys, but a man gotta do what a man gotta do. Feel me?

here is what I did, I let her come and put an option she wanted on the boat to make here feel like she helped and believe it or not its something I already wanted but dont tell her that. She loves to go fishing and dont mind her going so I take her about once a month. Then I bought her a yukon.

I got the boat home and the wife teared up when she saw it didn't have a rear fishing deck for her. So I had to call Ricky and get her one built..........
