Ive searched and searched, and cant find a solid answer.. does bps make a crossover for a prodrive, and if not, is their anyway that it can be somehow fitted on there? What other pipes are made that fit pro drive, that are just as loud, if not louder?

Yes they do make one specifically for the prodrive, only difference is the location of the exit port.

If i'm not mistaken it is the loudest in my opinion, i ran one and took it off cause it was too loud plus i wanted to try the new Marsh Mellow

lol I dont expect to spend that much for a exhaust that will just fall apart.. Doesent hogg build a pipe for pro drive that is equivalent to the crossover as far as how loud it is?

I've always liked it for some reason.. Im sure ill get tired of it eventually and when I do ill just buy something else.

BPS redesigned the supports for the crossover to fix it's problems. It is loud, but u can install the baffle anytime to reduce the sound quite a bit.

I didn't think it was the supports causing the problems. I was told that its how the exhaust sat so close the the water that when your running it the cooler water was always spraying up and hitting the hot exhaust and causing it to crack near the welds. I could be wrong though

The marshmallow has 2 versions, the original one and the x. The x is supposed to be louder with no baffles and the original which is pretty quiet. I have the original.
The x is pretty new so somebody else would need to comment on it's volume.

I agree with Owen I have a crossover on mine water hardly ever hits it. It has all the new braceing and I still have a crack. But that was after 100 plus hours of beating the sh@# outta it

I have the new Marsh Mellow and it is very nice, same performance as the BPS in my opinion just not nearly as loud, and has a bad to the bone rumble and WOT sound

I doubt many of you have the new bracing, only just came out. Its reinforced where the brace hits the crossover pipe. They had problems with the welder getting hot and making it brittle as a fail point. It was not water splashing on it.

How much is it to add hydro tilt, and reverse to a manual pro drive unit?

The heat don't hep things but it is the vibration that is breaking the mufflers 10 fold on stainless. Stainless work hardens therefore the welds or the heat effected zone of the welds is what normally cracks. To keep one from breaking as soon the material must be thicker with as little welding as possible. If the materials are too thin then you will see actual brackets and flanges break as well. Heat makes metal expand and if that metal is locked in tight and has nowhere to move then it will sooner or later crack or break something. Mufflers should also be built from a higher grade stainless other than 304L like 316L minimum but the best would be a 321H or 347 grade. of course price gets higher with the upgrade in stainless. I think Inconel would be the best material to use but that would cost way too much to build.

Inconel is what they make stainless capillary strings out of, if I'm not mistaken.
