Camo you are 100 percent correct but scouting and knowing the birds in your area take care of most of that!! For sure their will be days you scratch but do your homework and you can keep those days to a minimum !! Just my .02 on it!!

The only days that being able to run a call really matter are the days when you get new birds in the area and they havent settled in anywhere yet. Those are the birds that will listen to you and you can really work em. Bein able to call can help you scratch out some more birds on the days that you may not be in the G spot, but like yall have said, location, location, location. Just listen to the birds, if they're not being vocal that day, then chances are they arent going to listen to you no matter how good you can call.

The best callers are the ones that know when not to call!!
