 AR 5rd mag modification Anyone mod a 20rd mag to hold only 5rds for hunting purposes? Seems like I could just make a block to ride in between the mag spring cut to the right length. All the 5rd factory mags have mixed reviews as far as reliability from what I have read. And I have 50+ colt mags laying around already.

AR 5rd mag modification What am I missing? Why don't you just stop putting in shells when you get to 5?

Re: AR 5rd mag modification The GW want miss it I assure you......... I just made a couple wood blocks. Havent fired the gun with them yet but they seem to function just fine.
