 Fuel loss question?
Had heads reworked .060 on 23 vanguard. Awesome lower end but seems like it will starve itself for fuel runnin around 4000. When I'm at those RPM's it will run fine then all of a sudden want to die and the only way I can save it is if I let off gas or hit the choke.
Everything else is fine with motor. Just can't figure out fule issue. Almost like I forgot to open breather valve on gas tank.
Would electric fuel pump fix issue? Cheap fix that I am willing to try.

 Re: Fuel loss question?
I installed a more ridged pump bulb that fixed my fuel delivery problem. I had e-fuel pump already. Some just eliminate the bulb together and go with just hose and e-fuel pump.

 Re: Fuel loss question?
I am having the exact same problem, but seems like it happens at WOT over open water chop.
I dont have a primer bulb or and e-pump. My tank is located in the back of the boat with about 5 feet of hose.
I am thinking of installing a primer bulb first. IDK

 Re: Fuel loss question?
if it only happens over open water/ chop, you definitely have an air leak. I had the same problem

 Re: Fuel loss question?
Is it only on a chop or does it do it when you go from like wide open and then suddenly to a idle.
