 Re: bowfishing in florida
u might need to drive a good ways to get to some good marsh. idk much bout north FL, im south Vero beach. ive never heard of anywhere that seemed good for bowfishin round panama. ive always been told panama's good for a different type of meat to stick your arrow in

You can shoot any fish that is not a game fish in freshwater. You can shoot Garfish, catfish, tilapia, mudfish etc.

 Re: bowfishing in florida
i live in pc and i wouldnt waste much time in freshwater. Deerpoint lake is the only big body of water there and gar and carp are the only fish i think ull see(non-gamefish). the carp were introduced to control grass and i dont think they want them shoot. find someone who is setup for flounderin and youll have something then. Fishings been real good all over if you have to settle for inshore and snapper is on fire offshore. good luck. oh, and i just the front beach road, there's plenty to poke there.
