Why havent any modded motors blown up in the past few months.

1 Everyone stoped trying to be the top dawg
2 Mod shops got mo betta at modding motors
3 Money run dry.

Everything is fine on my BPS Cam, Roller Rockers, Push rods, Stock heads (port & polished by Cody @ SETX Performance) & Mikuni

No issues once so ever. Very dependable. I run my rig hard too.

Give them some time and see what pops.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it did it really make a sound

run it for 100hrs with 700+ pounds in it and report back.


Hard running is relative my friend. My ez running is when i only had my wife and kids with fishing load. My hard running is on the river going 10+ miles with 1500 pounds with me.

I'm not doubting that there may be troubles down the line. So far though I have 65 hours on the mods, no issues yet. I have had some heavy loads nothing like 1500 lbs. When I take my boat out I put at least 40+ miles on it a trip. I make long runs down the ICW, take big waves running across the bay the boat has held up great. The engine too. The mods helped my load carrying & top end. I haven't had it fully loaded to 1500 lbs that's a heavy load for any boat but she can carry 5 people and still move.

I'm about to be putting the test on mine with the new casting deck & gigging light setup we'll see how she does. I must say Terry shooting all those fish will out weigh my 5 flounder I get to keep ANY day. So yes, I will never push the loads Terry & other big bow fishing guys do. They will be the ones to truly give you a no BS response on the dependability of mods because they push the limits regularly.
