Post Mud Buddy Lite
Hey y'all, I'm new to the site and I am buying a mud motor for the upcoming duck season in the new orleans area. I have a 14 ft extra wide southfork rated for a 25hp outboard and was looking for some advice on a mud engine. Was looking at the Mud Buddy Lite's based on the weight or the Gator Tail 23 but my concern is it weighs 225lb's and would be too heavy for the transom.....Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

You have one of the largest MB dealers in the country ~30 mins from you in Harahan. Call Andy Johntson- 504-737-1203, he's rigged a ton of them and knows the trade offs for your area specifically.

didnt know that about the 40 inch. i know that the LA special looked a lot tougher than the regular minis outdrive. and drive belt housing and weigh way less too
