Post need help....
Hey guys,

BOY! I sure do love this site.....

anyway Im looking at a new rig and wondering on the size. Right now i have a 1648 and just looking to go bigger

I was thinking either a 17 or 18 and a 54 or a 60. I mainly fish and sometimes bowfish and duck hunt. Im in central florida but fuck hunt back in my home in the delta of mississippi. So although im running the marsh here ill be running some cypress trees some of the year but not mostly marsh.

I usually only fish or hunt with myself or one other person....around 150 pounds at most. No dog but fishing gear or a gun or two and a dozen drakes.

So guys would will the addition of going from 16 to 17 really be a difference or just step up to a 18? Also 54 or 60? I was set on a 60 but im leaning more towards a 54 now.

For now an outboard will be on the back til closer to hunting season and then im going to go find a short tail to put on here. Not going to run in the mud if ever though!

Thanks guys!

Talked to some great boat builders. Waiting to hear back from one more to see his opinion oh everything.

Still throwing the idea of a 17x50 possible or a 17x52 instead of a 18 since I run all alone.

Decisions decisions
