 removable trolling motor mount?
I bought a small 12v trolling motor that uses two tension bolts to fasten to the boat. my problem is the only place this mount will work is on the side of the boat, making it stick out real far to the side when not in use. Do yall know of any removable mounts i could fasten to the side of my huntdeck? i dont wanna weld a plate to the bow because i seldom use a trolling motor.

 Re: removable trolling motor mount?
It sounds like you have a transom mount trolling motor. I can't help you with that except for welding a mounting bracket to your huntdeck.
I have a bow mount trolling motor and use the Minn Kota quick release bracket. It is great for bow mounts and it is real clean when you are not using the trolling motor. See attached pic. The black rectangle on the bow of my boat is all that remains when not using the trolling motor.

 Re: removable trolling motor mount?
didnt you say that you had a huntdeck?
just put a couple riv nuts on the top of the huntdeck, and bolt it down. Or have someone weld a 1/4" plate on top of the huntdeck and drill/tap it so that you could bolt that mount on.
