 I wanna catch some reds i wanna take the gf next weekend to catch some reds, shes never been saltwater fishing. Where do yall recommend going that isnt too far from Prairieville? I know Ill prolly have two drive at least two hours or so. i use to fish tourneys out of cypress Cove and port eads many moons ago, but havent been back since. Not really looking for exact locations, just general areas that I can download the maps for my gps. This technique (asking MMT) worked perfect this weekend, i took advice of a fellow member and my godchild and i loaded up yesterday!!!

Re: I wanna catch some reds Rod, the west bank of Pointe-a-la-Hache has been really good for reds. I'f you've fished Port Eads, then you passed thru there. If you are interested, let me know, and I'll give you a few general spots.

Re: I wanna catch some reds Dude the reds and trout are on fire out of Venice, thursday, friday and Saturday I had 250 trout and 60 redfish, caught the reds down Joseph bayou..
