So since you cant change the gearing in a PD what are all you guys with big mods doing to keep the rpms down? Different pitch prop? Or just turning it up and lettin her rip?

Back off the throttle?? You can add pitch to control your RPMS, but if you pitch it too much you can lug the motor too and that will cause more harm than good. How much Are you spinning?

Im not having any issue yet. I was just wondering. If you have all these mods and dont want to spin the motor 45 or 4600 how do you get the proformance for all the money youve put in mods if you dont change the gearing?

U can't turn any more than 4300 wif the CDI motors. I have heads, carb, and exhaust on mine and ended up getting a different prop to bring the revs down. Didn't pick up much speed, but haven't had a chance to play around wif it much.
