Re: Stage 1 for GTR 23 Question Stage 1 doesn't really mean anything. Everyone's recipe is different. Generally either heads, cam, and exhaust, or heads, carb, and exhaust is what people are calling Stage 1.

Re: Stage 1 for GTR 23 Question Depends what you want really. Where are you located? BoatDr can get you carb, heads, and exhaust. Don't know if he has a cam for the 23's or not. Calen is a new sponsor on here and seems to have a good reputation. Don't know if Hoyt at GT is working on motors right now, but he seems to do good work as well. BoatDr is the only one I've had any personal experience with, and probably where I would be taking my motor if I was taking it anywhere.

Re: Stage 1 for GTR 23 Question From Denham Springs. Running 24 MPH in deep water at 3300 to 3400 RPMs. Baot is a 1748. Just would like a little faster
