Need to eventually upgrade my rifle scope. Looking for a good scope that won't break the bank. Any suggestions. Rifle is a .243 Ruger bolt action

Check out a Sightron SII 3x9x42mm. These scopes have excellent reviews on any site that you check and are made in Japan. I own several of these and the glass is excellent and the clicks are extremely repeatable. Now if you can spend about $400, get a Zeiss Conquest.

all the scopes mentionedare good and have a ok price. you just need to go to a store that has them and see which one you like best there is only about $40 difference in there price. and if you can catch them on sale you can get any of them for about $130 to $150.

Nikon or leupold is the only way to go unless u have the green for a swarovski. I have had a buckmaster 4.5 x 14 on my 22-250 for about 8 years and with it being dropped and everything I have never had a problem.

I caught a Nikon Pro Staff 3x9x50 on sale at Academy for $150 and highly recommend it.

I shot 2 hogs in Texas this Spring at night and could see them clearly through the scope with nothing but moon light!

the cheap leupold is a deerfield. its not a bad scope but for the same money you can get a nikon. its a better scope than the deerfield. the deerfield is not the quility of a true leupold.

I have 2 of the Grand Slams 4.5x14x40 a little on the high side but worth it.
