thanks to tropical storm lee the pasture finally filled up with water just in time for teal season. saw some good groups of teal working this morning. 5 or 6 groups of 20 or so. and quite a few groups of 6 or so. will have pictures up soon

yea went out to ma lease today and all the cow pastures by ma lease was full of water but that north wind blowin like it is should blow it out

with that north wind hurt you

no wind will hurt me. the pasture has no way to drain out. just fills up with water and becomes a great spot the hunt. the birds literally showed up over night with that front that came in

you kno every teal season at ma place i dnt see a bird one till opening morning just forking weird to me and we limit out every morning dnt kno i thinks that they all in them rice feilds and pastures and when those hunters start stiring them up they headin to da marsh but big duck them birds hold to ma lease

woodiebuster - throw some feed down they will stay where you saw them last week haha.

marshcreaper - this is actually a pasture that i got permission to hunt on from a farmer in bayou gauche. its kinda close to the bayou gauche reserve but i think them birds would rather stay in that pasture than in the reserves being the amount of people running in the reserve. and im looking in to getting one of those crossovers for my gtr
