My 2yr old son was diagnosed with a heart condition called left ventricular hypertrophy recently, and now we have an appointment with a pediatric cardiologist at Texas Children's Hospital. the walls of the chamber grow thicker, lose elasticity and eventually may fail to pump with as much force as a healthy heart. It could be that the EKG was off because he was moving a lot. It was diagnosed from his Pediatrician, but she is not a heart doctor!! He has been the same as he always been playing, running, being himself. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Last Labor Day we were told the news that my my 5 year old had a brain tumor and was in an immediate need for surgery. I dont know if there is any worse feeling in the world than hearing the news that your little one has a major medical problem. We will most certainly keep your little one and your family in our prayers.

Thank you for all the prayers, had his appt today and the Cardiologist told us the great news. He has no heart problems. This sure was a blessing for my family. No follow up is needed.
