Painting your face during teal season makes you look silly. Teal aren't that smart. That is all.

I always thought painting your face period was silly. Instead of making you invisible, it makes you look like a negro. And last time I checked, negros weren't invisible.


I like the ghillie hat and facemask. Much more 3d than shiny black facepaint.

Agree during teal season. I have several face masks for white faced guests during big duck season though. I will paint in some situations. Hate calling w/ a mask.

I hate wearing a mask and sometimes I wear my glasses and they usually fog up with a mask. If I'm hunting I have my face painted. I don't mind being made fun of. I don't use paint though. I goto home depot and get cork like goes in a wine bottle and use that. Not greasy and its easy to remove. An uncovered face shines like a diamond in a goat's ass.

I normally just wear a cap with the bill real low, and tuck up against brush when calling them in or waiting to cap that ass. But when hunting in something a little more open, (I've even hunted on the middle of an island with no cover at all burried in mud against a downed tree) I'll use the kork. Usually keep one or two in my bag for guests as well who like to look up and not hide their face like their supposed to

Yeah. Catch it on fire, blow it out and then rub it on. Its the only way to go. Screw some paint. But......do make sure its out before you apply it. Don't ask me how I know.

Face mask are good but , paint sucks but I've got a good beard to help hide my face during season , to many bobble heads in the blind keep your fuckin head still, thats what is say.lol cork works great , thats what I put on my sons WHITE ass face .

I wear the primos 3/4 stretch fit mask, it works great and it's comfortable.

Heard the cork thing earlier this year. I have already been stockpiling wifes corks in a kitchen drawer. I have the bottom of my face covered w/ hair but cheek bones and bridge of nose shine like rudolph if not covered. We hunt laying on a tree alot and you will lose birds in the timber if you cant look at them. Can't call to what you can't see.
