Lone Wolf Wide Sit and Climb II
A buddy of mine is looking into one of these tree stands and is curious how they hold up. He is the ultimate tight wad and the thought of spending money almost puts him in a coma.

Re: Lone Wolf Wide Sit and Climb II
It's a great stand but for all the money you spend on it your still gonna have to spend a couple of more dollars. The seat is not all that comfortable, you can replace it with a summit seat, or a net style seat (Ibelieve Hazmore makes them) The net style will not slide back when you stand up on the wide sit and climb. Also for $500 bucks the carry straps will have to be replaced as well. Those are the two negatives, that said the stand is extremely light and the base does not slide on any tree. I was climbing some trees with no bark and it still will not slide. It packs well, does not stick above my head so it does not get hung up. Very quiet to climb with and quick to set up. After I made those two modifications I'm 100 percent happy with the stand.

Get an Ol' Man you wont regret it. I bought my first in 95 and have 3 now. That net seat is the best and it sets up quick.
