Ok, for starters, if you buy an airboat for the same $ you have in that rig, you better be prepared for the high maintenance costs. Nobody here disputes that the airboats will run in places we can't (sometimes), what we can't understand is why you would talk about how much you like your "new to you" boat & then turn around & say you're gonna sell it to buy something else instead. Plus, you're gonna shell out more $ for reverse, when you're not keeping the rig. Will rev make it more appealing to SOME? Sure, but they're not gonna give you an extra $500-1k for the rig just because you added the reverse, unless you already have it priced DIRT CHEAP. Even then, I'd rather buy it dirt cheap & do it myself than pay someone else to do it. Just my .02 on the deal. Good luck with the venture, hope it works out for ya.
By the way, that is a very nice rig. You should seriously consider getting the hydro rev & also hydro trim for it & just keep it. 4 wheelers are for cow pastures, not boats.
