Took the 444 H&R out to a place we've been bowhunting, at 8 o'clock a doe and two years came out, once the yearlings were clear I dropped the hammer on her.......

Those yearlings will be fine.

I shot a doe years ago with a .444 and you could pass a 16oz beer can through the rib cage where it exited.
