Post Cowling holds water
My 24 Honda will let water into the cowling if it is tilted forward into the boat when it rains.
I was worried about it freezing and making a mess one morning if I crank it like that so I drilled some holes in the bottom of it so it can drain.

Do the Briggs have this problem or has anybody forked sumthin up like that?
Just curious.

the briggs does the same... and yes you can fork stuff up if your area freezes... drilling some holes and using a motor cover will fix this...

Noticed the same thing just yesterday on my 35 B&S. Been hunting the salt and hitting the car wash. Thanks for the tip. Duckdon
