 Re: Gators
Didn't see one hunting but riding to the blind friday afternoon I saw atleast a twelve footer sunning on the bank. I got about 10 ft from him before he hit the water. Biggest one I've ever seen in north la.

 Re: Gators
2 Sundays ago.. Walking back to the blind after hiding the boat, walkin through some bullrush...went to move some cane outta my way with my hands and take a step on a flattened area and almost stepped on a 8 foot gator. he sat there and didn't move just looking at me, i liked to jump outta my waders. This was in the back of 5-mile.

 Re: Gators
East side(in LA) opening weekend will be bad the weather is supposed towarm up a bit with highs on Saturday 75*+. On Sunday it should be about 80*. That'll be perfect weather for the gators to catch their last bit of sun.

 Re: Gators
Damn. Place I'm gonna hunt sat has a bunch of shit in it....tall weeds and lillies. I'm not crazy about wading it at all. I hate warm weather, alligators and mosquitoes.

 Re: Gators
Saw one that was about 8-9 foot on the way to the blind a couple of weeks ago.
I won't be bringing my dog in teal season anymore.

 Re: Gators
Not a gator but we did see this bad boy on Sunday. Looked like he had just eaten a small hog. What a time to leave the gun on the fourwheeler.

 Re: Gators
Yes. An extremely bloated rattler that had just eaten a small child.

 Re: Gators
No gators on the coast right now. Have been seeing a lot of jellyfish and 1 ugly portugese man-o-war at my camp dock. Gators left when the water got salty. Need rain.
