Need ideas (pics would be even better) for lights
I have a 1648 flat bottom Legend Craft. I need to mount some lights on the front so I can see where I am going. I was thinking at least two, maybe even four lights on the front. I was thinking about having my local welder put a couple of brackets on the bow, then fabricating a pipe to mount the lights to that would fit in the brackets and secure in with pins. That way I can remove them if I wanted to. If y’all have any pictures/ideas of how some good ways to put some bright lights on the front of the boat, that would be great. Also, if you have any recommendations on the type of lights to use, that would be helpful too.
The other thing I want to do is mount a few lights in the interior of the boat so that we can see inside the boat too. If y’all have any ideas on the types of lights to use for that and where to get them, that would be helpful as well. I am a visual kind of a guy, so pictures usually help me out more than anything.

This is what I've got on my boat. The blue lights are coming off this year and being replaced. Hat light like for coon hunting works great, but this does well enough for us.
Switch panel. The thing sprayed with the purple crap is my negative cable buss bar. Had my buddy build me a box to fit the switch panel out of stainless.

Re: Need ideas (pics would be even better) for lights
Can't remember where I bought them. They were a set of cheapie 55w. Think it was probably just an auto parts store. Was planning on putting the 100w bulbs in them, but ended up putting the blue lights on there so I didn't need to. Buddy gave me the blue lights, but they are causing a slow battery drain so I'm getting rid of them. (got stranded nine miles back in, on the Northern opener last year. Nightmare.)

Re: Need ideas (pics would be even better) for lights
The pics are definitely helping me get ideas. Anyone have any input on the wattage necessary? I want these things to light up everything in front of me very well. I don't want lights that just show the water directly in front, I want some POWER in these things and be able to see well in front of me.

Would it include the lights? How much would it cost? How bright are they? How do I get in touch with him?

Re: Need ideas (pics would be even better) for lights
I have a box like Benelliman posted and have the Blazer 6"x4" rectangular lights that Jim164B posted above. I replaced one light with a Trapazoid pattern lense I picked up from Northern Tool and the other is a regular spot. The trapazoid pattern lights up the whole front area of the boat and the spot farther out- its what they use on some farm equipment.
I replaced the 55W bulbs with 100W and installed a relay. There details of the wiring with a diagram here:
I found the pics I had sent someone:
Other kits you can buy from Manufacturers:
This one fits in holes in the deck:
