Get the basic model then get whatever mounts you want. No need for LCD playback yes it's cool but not really needed.
If your going to get one get a 32 GB card & extra battery. You'll burn through battery faster than storage space with the 32GB card.

GoPro Model I would look at the different ones in amazon. The motorcross one was 30 cheaper then the others. But it all depends what you want for mounts.

Re: GoPro Model The hero2 is now available. Little more expensive but from reviews it seems to have more shutter speed = better low light video.
