This is true, trailer bulb, where your shooting the ducks, tags out, plugs in gun, license, etc. etc. etc. The internet will lead them right to you and from past experience you don't want that lol

Hmmm gonna call bullshit. If my boat is on my trailer at my house and a bulb is out. They can't wrote me a ticket. I can disassemble my gun at my house and remove my plug. They can't write a ticket. If you post more than 6 birds tag the people you shot with. Take a lie detector. Once again open mouth insert foot

You can post limits just from your weekend hunts to give them enough cause to come knockin on the door. Better hope you have less than 12 in the freezer.

You've gotta realize THEY ALSO have to have resonance evidence otherwise it won't hold up in court.

Paleohuntr....Same here i have lots of friends that are GW hell i hunt with them. When they see me at the ramp they don't even think twice about checking me, because why you ask, ITS BECAUSE I AM ALWAYS LEGAL. NOt to long ago someone posted something on here about a kid posting a huge amount of birds on FB and it got him busted don't know how they did it but they did, thats why this thread was started, its just a heads up but i new it wouldn't take long for some idiot to run off with it.

Take it for what its worth!

I understand that and I'm glad they caught the little bastard! If your going to put pictures of illegally harvested animals anywhere online you deserve to get busted and I applaud fish and game for their resourcefulness and use of technology to bust these type of guys.

However this thread has quickly escalated into, don't take any pictures or fish and game will plant evidence to make a case against you. There is a reoccurring theme here lately that suggest that some of the folks don't read/understand the regulations and think it's perfectly fine to kill whatever you want at any time.

You can possess double your limits if you have another person's name and license number to claim half the birds.

i guess this means I am going to get busted

I have always posted my ducks on facebook... fish as well.

everything is legal and everytime i have been stopped i've been legal and have never got a ticket.

I was in college to be a game warden. It would take a asshole to search someones house unless they were givin reason to believe they were outlaws.

The kid that got busted posted these ducks during teal season.

Also.. a personal Abode is my house. It states nothing about a max number of ducks at my house.

DAILY BAG LIMIT means the maximum number of migratory game birds of a single species or combination (aggregate) of species permitted to be taken by one person in any one day during the open season in any one specified geographic area for which a daily bag limit is prescribed.

AGGREGATE DAILY BAG LIMIT means the maximum number of migratory game birds permitted to be taken by one person in any one day during the open season when such person hunts in more than one specified geographic area and/or for more than one species for which a combined daily bag limit is prescribed. The aggregate daily bag limit is equal to, but shall not exceed, the largest daily bag limit prescribed for any one species or for any one specified geographic area in which taking occurs.

POSSESSION LIMIT means the maximum number of migratory game birds of a single species or a combination of species permitted to be possessed by any one person when lawfully taken in the United States in any one specified geographic area for which a possession limit is prescribed.
AGGREGATE POSSESSION limit means the maximum number of migratory game birds of a single species or combination of species taken in the United States permitted to be possessed by any one person when taking and possession occurs in more than one specified geographic area for which a possession limit is prescribed. The aggregate possession limit is equal to, but shall not exceed, the largest possession limit prescribed for any one of the species or specified geographic areas in which taking and possession occurs.

PERSONAL ABODE means one’s principal or ordinary home or dwelling place, as distinguished from one’s temporary or transient place of abode or dwelling such as a hunting club, or any club house, cabin, tent or trailer house used as a hunting club, or any hotel, motel or rooming house used during a hunting, pleasure or business trip.

MIGRATORY BIRD PRESERVATION FACILITY means:
1.
Any person who, at their residence or place of business and for hire or other consideration; or
2.
Any taxidermist, cold-storage facility or locker plant which, for hire or other consideration; or
3.
Any hunting club which, in the normal course of operations; receives, possesses, or has in custody any migratory game birds belonging to another person for purposes of picking, cleaning, freezing, processing, storage or shipment.

Doesn't matter what amount of fish you have. That's regulated by your state. Most states let you have all you want. Migratory birds are a different story. We are all regulated by the Feds. Same rules apply to everyone. 12/person/household.

Per liscence holder is how I understood it.
What if you have kids under 16 and they don't require license?

Those that can legally and capable of hunting. Let's say you have a four year old, seven year old, your wife without a hunter education certification, and yourself. It would be safe to say 24 is the most you can have.

Boat Dr, Read the Aggregate Daily bag limit. I think your answer is in there.

Also termination of Possession is something to read about. Once you gift it it is not Possession....
