1 ft wider would prob work fine glad mine is as wide as it is cause steep ramps are almost at the top of transom. Only bad part would be a lot of surface area when u beach it. I might mod the motors when the warrenty is up but with fresh props its plenty

I am making a bowfishing rig (1984) so I think wider will help me.
I will do Pro-drive or Gator tail b/c I need reverse.

that boat looks like it working to me had a pile of birds on the nose (hen killer ) with no reverse just have to think ahead for the next move good luck
