Post is it possible
Aside the BS on how fast a boat will go. I'm wondering I've got a 1854 gatortraxx with mb 35. We normally have 4 people a dog. 8 to 12 dozen decoys. Gas . 2batteries. Ect. Its it possible under that load to make my boat run around 25? Sounds crazy but if its not possible I may just sell it. And go to tunnel hull jet motor our something. Wondering what y'all got to say

I'm holding 27 steady in a heavy 1860 Excel. I've got the HD5500. I run about the same load. My motor is geared down to 50 on bottom though.

Oh and I think if he put a 50 bottom in place of a 46 it would gear it down a little

Another question if I put heads and rods and pistons. What will compression ratio be. I don't want to have to mix race gas with 91. Mainly I can't get 93 around here anymore. Don't want pro blems. Maybe just do top end now since motor only has 43hrs

How much do the people weigh 125lbs each or 300lbs each? Damn fools coming on here stating they can run 4 at 30, but the don't tell ya they only weigh a buck and change each.

All guys around 200-250. Ya kinda screwed up around herre. That's one of the reasons I sold my 12to1 383 Stroker I had in a70 camero. Couldn't drive it much. it was fun though 583 hp. I need to check a couple places to see if they have it now

Ok I bought some parts last weekend put then on last night and ran just now. I put a32in outdrive 38/50 gears dual exhaust.new prop. I was running 24 empty at 4410rpm before. Tonight I ran 24-25 with me and like 8 dozen decoys gun ect.. Man difference I seen was more traction throughout rpm range. Also I ran in about 8 in of water for a while and speed picked up to 28 and touched 29 briefly. Now I just need heads cam carb pushrods ect.. Maybe then I'll run over 30.
