 tax money=engine upgades
well im gettin a nice little chunk of change back from ol uncle sam. really want to get rid of my stock exhaust on my 35hp vanguard. ive just read on here that sometimes they will rust and pieces of the muffler can fall down into the motor. so i wanna stay away from that. any recommendations on mufflers? dont want nothin super loud. but i dont mind somethin a little louder than stock. also which one can give me a little better performance? thanks yall

Either a marsh mellow or bps is only thing out there. Just pick what one you want both are good mufflers

 Re: tax money=engine upgades
if you dont wanna be loud then get a marsh mellow with baffles(marsh mellow without baffles still isnt that loud at all) or a bps "q" muffler

 Re: tax money=engine upgades
I just put twin bps pipes on mine. Seems like it quiet er than stock.sounds better than stock for sure. I love my duels didn't as any performance though. That I can tell. Just got to have for other upgrades. I think its quieter cuz it puts sound farther away pointed away

 Re: tax money=engine upgades
The twins are loud. The Q is pretty quiet and gives good performance. Some folks say the new dual crossover is not real loud but performs well.

 Re: tax money=engine upgades
Did you get your motor from Kevin? I'm sure he has mufflers in stock, or installed on a motor for you to see/hear.
